Caroline Z. was founded in 2015 by Caroline Elenowitz. Using luxury textiles and couture techniques, Caroline Z. creates cocktail dresses and evening gowns to fit any client. We try to strike a balance between heritage fashion and new technology, combining luxurious silk and tulle with laser-cutting in our first collection. At Caroline Z., we want to create clothes that have a story and evoke an emotional response in the people who wear them.

Caroline Elenowitz is a New York City native who graduated from Yale University in 2012 with a BA in English Literature. Although she worked in PR for a year, she soon realized that what she really wanted to do was study fashion and she returned to school to study fashion design at FIT. She worked as an assistant designer at Valentina Kova before leaving to start Caroline Z.
